Gladstone Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest for activity providers for Youth Week. EOI closes 9am 2 February 2021.
Proposed Date: Saturday 10 – Sunday 18 April 2021
Location: Gladstone Region
Some activities will be offered for youth aged 18+ and may involved alcohol.
Gladstone Regional Council invites all businesses offering activities to engage with young people to take part in the 2021 Youth Week celebrations. Youth Week acknowledges young people aged 12-25 years old for the positive contributions they make to our community.
Who is eligible to submit an Expression of Interest?
Gladstone Regional Council is seeking expressions of interest for the following categories:
- Cooking Classes;
- Creative art sessions – sip and paint, flower crown making, clay class etc.;
- Environmental excursions;
- Group fitness class;
- High ropes;
- Outdoor active recreation sessions;
- Paintball, gel blasters, laser tag etc.;
- Trivia; and
- Yoga sessions.
What will be required of successful applicants?
Successful businesses will be required to:
- Sign GRC’s Service Provider Agreement;
- Submit a copy of Blue Card(s) and complete COVID-19 declarations;
- Complete a risk assessment; and
- Undertake any inductions required by GRC.

For further information on Youth Week 2021 or to register your interest in being a part of this year’s celebrations, please return your completed application form to the Community Development Team by 9am Tuesday 2 February 2021.
All applications received will be acknowledged by email. Applicants whose expressions of interest have been successfully selected will be contacted prior to Monday 15 February 2021.
