Weather Warning subscribers
You may have noticed an increase in the frequency of SMS weather warnings issued recently and we are aware that a number of these have not been for any areas within the Gladstone Region.
Council is working with our service providers to reduce the frequency of messages and ensure the relevance of information is improved.
To allow us time to work through resolving this, and ensure we can offer you an accurate and improved service, we are temporarily suspending the use of the SMS warning system. Please be assured you will still receive weather warnings via your registered email and can also keep up-to-date via RegionWatch and Council’s Facebook page.
We apologise for the recent issues you have experienced with our service and will keep you updated as we work with our service providers to resolve this issue.
