Miriam Vale Social Touch Football
This is an introduction to the game of touch football and of being included in teams to play a social game of touch. All abilities welcome with players free to sub on and off as required. High school students and adults are encouraged but younger students in upper primary may join in. The aim is to be active, have fun and learn new skills. Emphasis is not on playing to win! If you are interested, go along and give it a try. Players from throughout the region will come together for some active, social exercise.

Open Sessions – Tannum Fitness Centre
Display of rock climbing, interactive sportwall, bubble footy, mini golf, and specialty gym equipment. (Because of the safety aspects entailed in some activities, full participation by attendees will not be possible, but experienced people will be giving demonstrations, and limited participation opportunities available to attendees). 14+ for gym activities, 12+ for trials of leisure activities. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

CrossFit Session – Raw Movement CrossFit Tannum Sands
Come and try a CrossFit session for free. Learn the basics, meet the coaches and see why everyone keeps talking about CrossFit all the time!

Basic Pilates Class – Physio and Fitness
This is an introduction to Clinical Pilates technique, posture, alignment, isolation and breathing. Help alleviate pain of the lower back or any joint pain and muscular tightness. This class will improve your flexibility, co-ordination, fluidity, endurance, precision and stamina. It is perfect for people suffering from acute pain and who have never tried Pilates before. The class offers mainly floor work using Pilates equipment including the mat, ball, TheraBand and reformer. Pregnant ladies are welcome to attend this class.

Come & Try Bowls – Gladstone Bowls Club
Barefoot bowls is a great way to relax, enjoy the company of friends and an opportunity to make new ones. Barefoot bowls requires no brilliant sporting prowess or superior motor skills and encompasses all levels of ability. All that is needed is a desire to have a go and have fun. So, kick off your shoes and enjoy a fun day with family, friends and colleagues. Give it a go, it’s easy to play, and fun to learn.

Hub Total Fitness
There are 30-45 minute Group Fitness Classes ranging from Body Attack, Boxing, GRIT Strength and Strong by Zumba. Move at your own pace and be guided by our fully qualified exercise professionals. Expect to get sweaty but have a lot of FUN. Suitable for all fitness levels.
