Boil Water Notice in place for Bororen

Residents and visitors to Bororen are advised that a Boil Water Alert is in place following an unplanned water outage.
People should use cooled boiled water or bottled water for:
- Drinking
- Brushing teeth
- Preparing and cooking foods
- Washing raw foods such as fruit and vegetables
- Drinks and making ice
- Making baby formula
- Bathing babies
Unboiled drinking water can be used for:
- Showering and bathing other than babies and small children (avoid getting water in the mouth)
- Washing dishes by hand or in a dishwasher
- Washing clothes
- Flushing toilets
Bottled water is available at the Bororen Hotel for affected residents.
Council employees will also deliver bottled water to individual households both today and tomorrow.
