Living Here
National Tree Day is a call to action for all Australians to put their hands in the earth and give back to their community. Connect with nature and our community. 7.30am-11am Sun 26 July 2026
Established in 1996, National Tree Day is Australia's largest community tree planting and nature protection event, proudly sponsored by Toyota Australia and co-founded in 1996 by Planet Ark and Olivia Newton-John.
It's a day to venture outdoors, get to know your community and, most importantly, have fun!
While every day can be Tree Day, we dedicate the celebration of National Tree Day to the last Friday and last Sunday in July. It's a day to venture outdoors, get to know your community and, most importantly, have fun!
