The four workshops will focus on building local strengths and capabilities and help community organisations define their projects to better access grant funding.
The Grant Writing Workshops will result in community led action which encourages collaboration and partnerships across groups to achieve the objectives for resilience and recovery planning.
Four FREE workshops will be held at various locations across the Gladstone Region:
- 10.30am-1.45pm, Thursday 5 October
Baffle Creek Community Centre, Baffle Creek
- 10.30am-1.45pm, Thursday 12 October
Raglan Community Hall, 47 Raglan Street, Mount Larcom
- 10.30am-1.45pm, Saturday 21 October
Nagoorin Community Hall, 26 Degalgil Street, Nagoorin
- 4pm-7pm, Tuesday 31 October
Agnes Water Community Hall, 71 Springs Road, Agnes Water
Attendees will learn about the ins and outs of grant writing, meeting eligibility criteria, matching projects to grants and completing and submitting grant applications.
Community organisations will also determine ways to attract volunteers to their organisation.
A light lunch will be provided.
