Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) has an impressive list of shows performing at the venue in 2024 with something to appeal to people of all ages and tastes.
Those looking for a laugh are in luck, as pre-sale tickets to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow on Saturday 4 May go on sale from 10am (AEST) Wednesday 13 December, ending at 10am (AEST) on Friday 15 December.
Gladstone Region Councillor Glenn Churchill said while the line-up of comedians will not be confirmed until early March 2024, the pre-sale period allows an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets with an $8 saving for Adults and a $9 saving for GECC Loyalty Members and Concession card holders. There is also a discount for group bookings of 10 of more people.
“Last year’s show saw comedians perform to a sold-out crowd, so make sure to get in quick to secure your tickets prior to Christmas,” Councillor Churchill said.
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is one of many high-quality events taking place at GECC in 2024.

- Sounds Music Festival (for 13 to 17-year-olds)
- Manpower Australia (18+)
- Morning Melodies (five shows throughout the year)
- Combined Schools Musical – Disney’s The Little Mermaid
- Spellbound A Night of Magic & Grand Illusion
- Robertson Brothers 60's Variety TV Show
- Running in the Shadows of Fleetwood Mac
- Prada Clutch's: All-Drag Revue
- Creedence Clearwater Collective
- 'A Taste of Ireland' – The Irish Music and Dance Sensation.
“Personally, I am looking forward to the Fleetwood Mac and Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute shows as they remind me about the glory days where my hair was much longer than it is now with flowing waves, although the tide has now gone out now!” Cr Churchill added.
“However, if 70s rock isn’t your thing, stay tuned for more show announcements in 2024.”
