Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett and Brisbane Roar CEO David Pourre today officially launched the release of ticket sales to the Brisbane Roar game.

Councillor Burnett said as of 11am today tickets could be purchased to watch the A-league team play against a Gladstone Select side.

“There’s a definite air of excitement with the opportunity to soon see Brisbane Roar players running on to our hometown oval,” Councillor Burnett said.

“Gladstone has scored again attracting top football players to compete in our region,” he said. Brisbane Roar CEO David Pourre said the team was looking forward to the Gladstone match.

“Brisbane Roar is excited about the opportunity to journey to Gladstone as we continue to build what is sure to be an exciting Hyundai A-League 2019/20 Season,” Pourre said.

“The week-long trip will be a perfect opportunity for our players and coaches to engage with the local community as well as give the Gladstone football fraternity the chance to engage with Queensland’s only Hyundai A-League outfit up close.

“We would like to thank the Gladstone Regional Council for their support and we can’t wait to travel to the region in the coming weeks.”

Tickets to the Brisbane Roar Pre-Season Exhibition Match are expected to sell fast.

Gladstone Region residents are encouraged to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Gladstone Regional Council is also calling on food vendors, community groups, organisations and businesses to offer food and bar services at the 27 July match.
