Gladstone PopCon
The annual PopCon event is a convergence of innovation, pop culture and fandom that celebrates the spirit of the independent creator and their fans.
PopCon will be held on Saturday 13 September, 2025 from 11am to 5pm across the GECC, Library Square and Library, offering an array of entertainment including workshops, guest speakers, Cosplay Competition, market stalls, food vendors and much more.
Show off your cosplay skills, check out the displays, treat yourself at the market stalls and make some new friends.

Attention food vendors, market stalls, local artists and authors, community groups, organisations and businesses
GRC invites local food vendors, stallholders, artists and authors to apply to be a part of PopCon.
- Applications open 9am, Tuesday, 1 July 2025.
- Applications must be received by 9am on Tuesday, 5 August 2025, to be considered.
- All applicants will be contacted by COB Friday, 8 August 2025, close of business.
FOOD VENDORS
Preference will be given to food vendors that support the inclusion of people with food allergies, dietary requirements, and can supply their own power. Considerations will be made for food vendors who offer a variety of menu selections, and environmentally sustainable packaging, reside in the Gladstone Region, and have favourable feedback from previous events.
All food vendors must comply with all food safety regulations and be available to trade from 11am-5pm. A site fee will be applicable.
MARKET STALLS
Market stalls must fit within the theme of PopCon (Popular Culture).
Preference is for market stalls that offer Pop Culture-related items, environmentally sustainable products/packaging, reside in the Gladstone Region, and have favourable feedback from previous events.
Application forms will be available from 9am on Tuesday, 1 July 2025.
