Easter in Gladstone has something for everyone! Throughout the April School Holidays, Council is holding its first Easter in Gladstone Photography Competition. We’re asking residents, visitors and hobbyists to capture and share their photographs with us from across our region for their chance to win big! More information.

Village Opening Party
It is set to be the biggest Easter in Gladstone celebrations yet, as the Village plays host to the finish line celebrations for the historic running of the 75th Gladstone Ports Corporation’s Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race. Start the long weekend on the right note with our 80's Inspired Evening. With live music, food stalls, licensed bar and best dressed prizes, there is sure to be an amazing atmosphere. This family focused evening will be a fun way to launch the Easter Holiday festivities, so don't delay and rally your family and friends and join us!

Gladstone Harbour Festival Fun Run
Join Gladstone Road Runners at East Shores Parklands on Good Friday morning for the 46th Gladstone Harbour Festival Fun Run. All ages and abilities are welcome. 3k and 10k courses available.

Sailing Matters exhibition
Sharing the stories of the inaugural Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race of 1949, we celebrate 75 years of welcoming the competitors over the finish line. This social history exhibition showcases a selection of historical images and memorabilia from the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum collection and features items from Douglas Drouyn’s yacht Sea Tang, which sailed in the 1947 Sydney to Hobart Ocean Cruising Race.
