- The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) are planning to conduct a Feral Animal Control program utilising ground shooting to target feral pigs on Curtis Island National Park, Curtis Island Conservation Park and Curtis Island State Forest.

To ensure the safety of the public, no access is permitted to the protected areas North or West of Joey Lees Campground and Access road, or South of Yellow Patch Campground during the above dates.
Access will still be available along the main access tracks to Joey Lees Campground, North Turtle Street Day Use Area, Turtle Street Campground, Connor Bluff Day use Area, Graham Creek Boat Ramp, Ship Hill Lookout and Multi use Trails.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
