- Hampton Drive (Langdon St-Garnet Rd), Tannum Sands
- Description of Works
Work will involve construction of a new 560m long x 2m wide concrete footpath along one side of Hampton Drive to connect to an existing section of footpath, located across from the Garnet Rd intersection.
This project is included in Council’s 2023/24 Capital Works program, with work to be delivered by Council’s road crew.
This project supports Council’s Pedestrian and Cycle Strategy, providing cyclists and pedestrians with a safe and dedicated pathway, reducing the need to share the roadway with motorists.
The new footpath will provide greater pedestrian connectivity for the community and improve pedestrian safety in the area.
