Council is recruiting Parks and Gardens Labourers to join our teams based in Gladstone.
About the role
The purpose of this position is to support Council’s direction by undertaking a wide range of maintenance in horticulture, landscape, arboriculture, mowing, playgrounds, public amenities, litter collection, infrastructure and plant operation as part of a multi-disciplined team that is responsible for the maintenance of Council’s parks, reserves and urban streetscapes in accordance with Council’s priorities and standards.

We are offering a variety of work patterns, which include
- Permanent full time
- Permanent part time (school hours)
- Permanent part time (one week on, one week off)
- Maximum Term full time.
We are holding pop-up interviews at Philip Street Communities and Families Precinct (see dates and times below). You don’t need to book a time, just come along and have a conversation with us.
- Wednesday 28 May, 12.30pm – 2.30pm
- Thursday 29 May, 2.30pm – 4.30pm
