Agnes Water Beach Visitor Carpark Work to construct an overflow carpark at 5 Agnes Street, Agnes Water, to provide an additional 49 car parking bays to one of the region’s most popular beaches.The project will provide safer and more convenient access to Main Beach, help to ease road congestion in the area, and better care for the surrounding environment. Agnes Water Skate Park Revitalisation Funded under Round 1 of the Australian Government’s Growing Regions Program, the $1.94M Agnes Water Skate Park Revitalisation project is progressing. The detailed design for the project is based on the concept design which was endorsed by Council and developed through extensive consultation with the community and stakeholders.
Air Sea Rescue Park Boardwalk Renewal This project aims to renew this popular asset to provide an improved, safe, aesthetic and environmentally friendly boardwalk access for the public.Works are included in Council’s 2025/26 Capital Works program and is being undertaken by Contractors.

Calliope Sewer Pump Station Works Works are planned at the sewer pump station in Monterey Way, Calliope from 9 January to 30 March 2026. Assessments have determined that upgrade of the current chemical dosing unit on site will improve corrosion control and reduce sewer odour.
Curtis Island Air Valve Chamber Modification Works Critical infrastructure upgrade works on Curtis Island are scheduled to start from the end of January 2026. Works will be carried out by Contractors at various designated locations across Curtis Island.
Dawson Highway, Calliope - Footpath Renewal Works along the right-hand side of Dawson Highway at Calliope, from the Drynan Drive traffic lights to the Calliope State School boundary at Stirrat Street.Replacing about 850m of existing asphalt footpath with a new, 2.5m wide concrete footpath to connect to existing concrete footpath in the area.
