Project information

The surface of the existing road in the area is in need of replacement to improve this asset and reduce on-going maintenance costs.

Project works will continue on from recent roadworks along McPherson Street and will be undertaken by Council's Road Crew and Contractors re-sealing about 250m of Diamond Hill Road. 

Works update 

During construction only one side of the road will be open to traffic.

At times, some brief disruptions to property access will also be experienced during minor works to driveways, road stabilisation and road sealing activities.

What to expect during works

• Works Mon to Fri, 7am-5pm. 
• Some weekend work will be scheduled following removal of road material. 
• Noise, vibration and dust from the work area is expected.  
• Water trucks for dust suppression, as necessary.  
• Machinery, equipment, vehicles and workers.  
• Partial road closure, traffic and pedestrian disruptions and traffic management. 
• At times, brief property access disruptions.  
• Reduced speed limit. 
• Please plan for delays, drive to conditions and follow directions and signage in the area.
