Stay SunSmart and protect yourself

When participating in any outdoor activities in Queensland, it’s important to always be prepared. Wear comfortable, breathable clothing, sensible shoes for walking and be sure to always pack the insect repellent. Most importantly, be SunSmart and wear strong sunscreen, a wide brimmed hat and long-sleeved shirt or protective clothing if possible.

If you forget, then seek out one of the many shaded areas in the part and relax with your sunnies and a long, cool drink of water from one of the many water fountains on site.

Accessing the Gardens

The best way to access the Gardens is in your own vehicle. There’s plenty of onsite parking within easy walking distance to art installations, play equipment and winding walks.

Accessible parking is available within the gardens and at its entrance.

Restrooms

The Gardens’ main toilet facilities are fully signed and located in the middle of the Gardens. There are additional toilet facilities throughout. These include accessible facilities and parent-friendly facilities.
