Project information

Road safety improvement work along a section of Jeffery Court adjacent to Tom Jeffery Memorial Park, Agnes Water.

Consideration has been given to public safety, speed limit, and improvements to traffic flow to increase safety for our community and visitors to the region.

Works update

Overall project works involve drainage, road widening, new kerb, asphalt reseal, line-marking, installation of road signs and mountable kerbing, construction of retaining wall and boardwalk on embankment adjacent to Tom Jeffery Memorial Park.

• Jeffery Court footpath works next to kerb completed. 
• Some retaining works undertaken.
• New access ramp built to Tom Jeffery Memorial Park.

Remaining: 

• Boardwalk construction works are being planned and will tie in to the retaining wall works along Jeffery Court.
• Construction of the retaining wall along Jeffery Court is planned to commence from Monday 17 August 2026, weather and site conditions permitting.

What to expect during works

During works, you’ll notice workers and activity in the work area with some brief traffic disruption required at times.

• At times, dust and machinery/equipment noise from the project site
• Some local traffic disruption and temporary parking restrictions
• Reduced speed limit
• Please follow signs and directions for your own safety and the safety of the workers.
