Come and try a session of tennis. Coach Angie Draheim will tailor the session to be suitable for the raw beginner through to the player of yesterday. All equipment will be provided. Tennis is a sport which can be played by all ages.

Il Shim Taekwon-Do teaches a recognised martial art in a family friendly environment.

Come & Try Session – Powerhouse Group Fitness Class
Get ready for Summer! Come and try group fitness classes to kick start your fitness program. There are 20 classes per week to choose from. Free for Yaralla Lifestyle Members or $5/class for non-members during the Sport and Active Living Festival. Delivered by certified instructors, classes are adopted to suit different fitness levels and duration is 45 minutes. Enjoy your workout in a huge, private room with a sweeping view of Tannum Sands Beach. Take along a towel and water bottle. Limited spots. Bookings required.

Meteors Hockey Club is social, fun and family-orientated! The club always compete hard and use hockey to socialise with family and friends. The biggest hockey club in Gladstone, with a history of State and National players and coaches, Meteors will host a FREE Come & Try session for anyone who wants to have a crack. Quality coaches and players will be on-hand, so take a friend and go along for a hit-and-giggle, learn some skills, and grab a FREE sausage!

Come & Try Basketball – Special Olympics Gladstone
This is a great opportunity to participate in basketball. All equipment is provided.
Athletes get involved in Special Olympics for various reasons. Some want to have fun and make friends; others want to be part of a community; and some are going for GOLD.
Special Olympics Gladstone offers all of that, catering for everyone with an intellectual disability, whatever their dream. Sports offered include swimming, football and basketball.

A Game for All - Gladstone Junior Touch Football Association
Go along to Gladstone Junior Touch's Come and Try session where you can learn to play touch football. Learn all the skills of the game of touch football and play a modified game on the day! Juniors aged 5-14 years are welcome to participate. What you will need - appropriate clothing for physical activity, closed in shoes, water bottle and a hat. Interested in finding a team after the session, the association can assign one for you!

Junior Tennis Coaching – Gladstone Tennis & Squash Association

Learn about the cars, equipment and the gear used on exploratory trips in our beautiful Gladstone Region. This not-for-profit club commenced in 1972. Families and single members enjoy getting out there and exploring. Club members also travel and stay in camping locations overnight or for several days. Go along and have a bite to eat at the club’s free sausage sizzle and information session!
