Flag Raising Ceremony and Morning Tea
The community is invited to attend the annual NAIDOC Week Flag Raising Ceremony at the Gladstone Civic Centre. While the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island flags are flown throughout the year, this ceremony reaffirms Gladstone Regional Council’s commitment to acknowledging our First Nations people. The ceremony features speeches from First Nations Elders and Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett.
The ceremony, all attendees are invited to enjoy a morning tea in the Gladstone Civic Centre forecourt.

NAIDOC Week Services Expo
Visit more than a dozen stalls from local community groups, health services and other busineses, plus entertainment for the kids.

NAIDOC Exhibition 2023
An exhibition profiling the art of First Nations People, heritage works, local voices and memories.
