Tech and Talk, our new group sessions, are held regularly at Gladstone Library. Build your technology skills with presentations and workshops on a variety of topics. Each session includes light refreshments and a practise/question time, after the set learning topic, for an opportunity to chat and learn from each other.

Tech Help

One-hour individual Tech Help sessions are scheduled regularly on weekdays at Gladstone Library. Bookings are essential. Book yourself online, phone (07) 4976 6400, or ask staff at any of our libraries.

One-hour individual Tech Help sessions are available at Agnes Water Library, phone (07) 4902 1501, once a month on either a Tuesday or a Friday and by appointment at Miriam Vale Library, phone (07) 4974 6241. Bookings are preferred, but drop-in help may be possible depending on demand.

Half-hour individual Tech Help sessions are available by appointment at Boyne Island Library, phone (07)4971 9700, to book or ask at the library.

Saturday Tech - runs from 9.30am to 3pm on selected dates at Gladstone Library. Bookable one-hour sessions are scheduled in the middle of the day. Book in our online events calendar (or contact us to book or discuss an alternative time). Drop-in help is available throughout the scheduled Saturday (depending on bookings).

Our Tech Help program allows you to choose your own topic and learn at your own pace. Book an individual learning session or bring along a friend or two and learn together! We provide help for adults of all ages.

  • Help with your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop, or with using the resources in our eLibrary.
  • Using our library catalogue to find, reserve, renew, or request items!
  • Help with researching your family history
  • Email – set up, create, reply, forward, and more…
  • Help with using the Be Connected online training videos and similar resources.

Please note: we do not assist with things such as technical issues with devices, telecommunication/SIM problems, or removing viruses. For such matters, contact a computer technician or your service provider.
