The CQUniversity Network and Pitch Event for the Gladstone Regional Enablers Program: Ideas to Impact brings together local businesses, innovators, educators, students, and community members to connect, share ideas, and explore pathways to innovation and growth.

Through inspiring guest speakers, student showcases, networking, and practical advice, attendees will gain insights and build confidence.

Whether you’ve solved a problem, developed a new product, found a better way to do something, or want to start up a business or take your business further, this session is for you.

Come along to test your thinking, understand the next steps, and build the confidence to launch, commercialise, start up, or grow.

Everyone is welcome! Bring your idea, your questions, or simply your curiosity to get help to launch.

Special Guest Speakers:

• Maddie Panther, Head of Programs at BOP Industries, will explain the challenge local high school students tackled during the two-day Future Creators Challenge innovation program.
• Trinity College students will showcase emerging ideas, perspectives, and innovations developed through their participation in the Future Creators Challenge.
• Jennifer McGuire, Regional Manager – Central Queensland at AusIndustry, will explain how AusIndustry supports regional businesses in innovating, growing, and accessing Australian Government programs.
• Dr Samantha Horeseman, HDR Innovation and Industry Lead at James Cook University, will discuss the Impact10x Simulator and how it can support innovators and entrepreneurs.

This event will feature inspiring presentations and provide participants with the opportunity to learn how to take the next step in turning an idea into a meaningful opportunity.
