Gladstone Regional Council’s free New Year’s Eve Party returns to the Gladstone Ports Corporation Marina Parklands, providing a stunning backdrop to farewell 2025 and welcome in 2026.  

Enjoy an evening of family fun, great food and live music featuring local favourites SAND, Adrian Thomas and band Adi Manaia, and headline act Brad Butcher (as seen on The Voice), before closing out the night with a DJ set. 

Two spectacular fireworks displays will light up the sky — an 8pm family display and the midnight finale to welcome the New Year.  

The event will also feature free mini golf, pay-as-you-go family rides, and roving performers making special appearances throughout the evening. Food and drinks will be available from a variety of onsite vendors, with a licensed bar operating within a fenced area for patrons aged 18 and over (strictly no BYO alcohol).  

Celebrate safely with family and friends at this free community event, proudly delivered by Gladstone Regional Council.

Important: First-come, first-served basis, Dependent on attendees at the event.

Upon Entry: Gates open at 5pm, security will be conducting bag checks – strictly no alcohol to be brought into the event.  

Conditions of entry

Animals:  No animals are allowed in the venue. Service dogs are accepted on a case-by-case basis.  

Can I bring a picnic rug?  Yes. Picnic rugs/blankets are permitted at the event.  

Can I bring fold up chairs?  Yes. Fold up chairs are permitted at the event.  

Can I bring food?  Yes. And Please enjoy from a selection of Food Trucks.  

Do you have First Aid facilities?  Yes. First Aid will be located inside the venue, in both the priority and general admission sections.  

Where can I go to collect lost property?  Please see staff at the gate entrances Information Marquee for all lost property. Lost property will be retained at the GECC for 48hrs after the event.  

Can I smoke inside the venue?  No. Smoking is not permitted in the event site, please exit the site if you wish to smoke.

Entertainment

The event features performances by: 

  • Brad Butcher Duo – Two-time Golden Guitar winner and The Voice finalist, known for heartfelt storytelling and award-winning country sound. 

  • Adrian Thomas & Adi Manaia – Local singer Adrian Thomas joins his new band for soulful vocals, smooth rhythms and upbeat summer energy. 

  • SAND – Local crowd favourites performing rock and pop hits, joined by a special guest backing vocalist. 

  • THE BRO – A high-energy DJ who’ll have everyone dancing through to midnight. 

Free mini golf, pay-as-you-go twirly tub and bungy trampoline amusement rides will be available for the whole family until 9pm.

Safe drinking

  • Don’t drink and drive  
  • Organise a designated driver  
  • I.D. will be required to purchase liquor

Parking and Transport

Parking is available on Bryan Jordan Drive.

General disability parking is available, and disability permit holders may present their valid permit to traffic control if they need to use the drop-and-go bays off Christine Martin Place.
