Aurizon will soon commence track maintenance along the Blackwater Rail System at Mount Larcom (QLD 4695).
The Narrows Road - at public level crossing ID#927-will be closed daily between 8am and 4pm from Wednesday, 16 September 2026 to Friday, 18 September 2026 (inclusive).
During this time, a Council-permitted and signed detour will be available via The Narrows Road,
Mattson Road, and Darts Creek Road. Please refer to the detour map.
The Mount Larcom Railway Station entry will remain open (Bruce Highway side).
Please follow the directions of onsite traffic control.
Measures will be in place to minimise noise, dust, and lighting where possible.
Aurizon will endeavour to make every reasonable effort to minimise these disruptions.
