Council is reminding residents to make sure their contact details are up to date as the annual rates, water meter reading and animal registration notice period approaches.

Gladstone Region Deputy Mayor Natalia Muszkat said keeping contact information accurate is the best way for residents to stay informed and avoid missing important deadlines.

“Each year, Council issues a range of important notices, including rates, water usage and animal registration renewals,” Cr Muszkat said.

“Having up-to-date contact details means residents receive their notices on time so they can take advantage of early payment discounts, while avoiding unnecessary late fees.

“We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to check and update their contact details if they need to.

“Council offers several convenient ways for customers to update their details, including online, via email, or in person at customer service centres.”

Residents can update their details by visiting www.gladstone.qld.gov.au/update-your-details or by calling Council on 49700 700.

Another way to make receiving your Council notices (rates, water and animal registration notices) easier is by signing up to EzyBill.
