Harbour Arbour 3D render July 2025

Gladstone Regional Council invites tenders for Tender 23-26 – Construction of Harbour Arbour, Gladstone.

The Harbour Arbour project forms a key stage of Council’s Goondoon Street Footpath Renewal Plan and is central to the ongoing revitalisation of Gladstone’s Central Business District (CBD).

The works focus on the transformation of Goondoon Street to enhance its function, amenity and role as a vibrant and accessible link between the waterfront and city heart.

As part of these works, Council will renew and upgrade underground water mains and associated connections, replacing ageing assets to improve network reliability, support future growth and minimise the need for further disruptive excavation works along Goondoon Street in coming years.

The project also comprises of upgrades to concrete footpaths, pedestrian-focused streetscape and landscaping.

All works are to be carried out on Goondoon Street, between Yarroon Street and Lord Street.

Tender submissions are now open and must be lodged digitally through VendorPanel by Tuesday, 9 December 2025.

In January 2025, Council successfully secured $5.3 million from the Federal Government to progress the Harbour Arbour project in the CBD.
