Gladstone Regional Council will host several free workshops centred around Fire Management during May and June.
Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said a series of free Fire Management Workshops will be held at three locations throughout the region designed to help residents safely and effectively manage natural disasters such as bushfires and land-based hazards.
“This workshop aims to strengthen community capability and resilience, improve decision-making, and to facilitate a shared understanding of local risks in the Gladstone Region,” Mayor Burnett said.
