EOI 2027 Gladstone Region Youth Council and Junior Youth Council

Gladstone Regional Council is looking for young people to join the 2027 Gladstone Region Youth Council or Junior Youth Council. Apply to join!

Youth Council 

The Youth Council is the main youth voice to Council. Members share ideas, give feedback, and help make sure young people's views are heard. 

Who can apply? 
Students entering Year 12 (in 2027) or up to 24 years of age.  

Junior Youth Council 

The Junior Youth Council works with the Gladstone Region Neighbourhood Centre to create projects, events and activities for young people. It’s a great way to build confidence, learn new skills and can be a pathway into the Gladstone Region Youth Council. 

Who can apply? 
Students in Years 9–11 in 2027. 

We are looking for young people who want to:

• Speak up 
• Listen to others 
• Share ideas 
• Help make a difference and get involved. 

No experience needed. 

Youth Council members meet twice each month. We welcome young people from all backgrounds, experiences and abilities.

• Review and complete the Expression of Interest (EOI) Form online or download a PDF version
• Email your completed EOI Form to info@gladstone.qld.gov.au or
• Paper copies can be handed in at the Gladstone Community and Neighbourhood Centre, Ngalill Building.
