Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge - Essential operational maintenance

Council would like to advise stakeholders that the Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge on Bryan Jordan Drive will be undergoing essential operational maintenance, repairs, and testing on Tuesday, 19 May 2026.

The bridge will be closed to all vehicular and marine vessel traffic for the duration of the works.

The Gladstone Thistle Pipe Band invites you to join us at our inaugural Highland Gathering! Get a sense for traditional highland music culture - plus a non-traditional twist - and enjoy tunes and dancing

This entertaining event will bring together three CQ Pipes and Drums Bands, young drummers, Ceilidh Dancing, Irish Dancing, foods and drinks, face painting, and more!
