Gladstone Regional Libraries provides accessible services and collections available to all our patrons. The accessibility of our library collections is enhanced by a wide variety of Audio and eBooks, as well as Dyslexic-Friendly Text and Large Print items.

All our libraries have computers for public access with free internet access and a variety of software. Printing from our computers and photocopying are available for a fee. The Gladstone Libraries App is available to download to access the library catalogue, eLibrary resources, and your library membership record. You can even use it to access your library card barcode on your phone!
Gladstone City Library has a Local Collection Room which houses the Local Studies and Genealogy collections, as well as computers and a microform reader for research.
Gladstone Regional Libraries provides a Home Library Service to residents of Gladstone, Boyne Island, Tannum Sands and Calliope. The Home Library Service caters to the needs of residents who are unable to visit a library due to medical, physical, or other special reasons.

Our new collection contains kitchen and craft equipment, but will be growing, so be sure to check our catalogue for new additions. As a library member, you can borrow items you may want to use at home for only a short period. It’s more economical and better for the environment than purchasing something you need to use once or twice. You can browse the collection at Gladstone City Library.
Volunteers at Gladstone City Library become members of the Friends of the Library group. Friends participate in a variety of activities, including re-shelving books and other items, assisting at events, unpacking stock, preparing craft materials, tidying the library, and assisting with regular book sales. Our volunteers and Friends are given basic training and inductions at the libraries.

With Arts & Crafts, 3D Printing and Gardening sessions being offered, there’s bound to be something for everyone in our MakerTime programs. We’ve also created a variety of handouts to help you along the way.

Tech and Talks are held regularly at Gladstone Library. Build your technology skills with presentations and workshops on a variety of topics. Each session includes light refreshments and a practise/question time, after the set learning topic, for an opportunity to chat and learn from each other.
