Council offices (including Gladstone Region Pound) will be closed over the Easter weekend. Benaraby Landfill and our Transfer Stations will remain open. Bin collection will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Alf Larson Park & Lions Park is home to two heritage-listed sites: The Miriam Vale War Memorial (World War 1) and, most notably, the Big Fig, planted by railway workers in the late 1800s.
