Council would like to advise stakeholders that the Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge on Bryan Jordan Drive will be closed to vehicular and marine traffic on Friday, 3 April 2026, from 6.45am. Reopening from 11am.
Council offices (including Gladstone Region Pound) will be closed over the Easter weekend. Benaraby Landfill and our Transfer Stations will remain open. Bin collection will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Come and join us for an afternoon of craft and entertainment as we celebrate the 23rd Annual Christmas Tree Decorating Extravaganza.
Our tree is a little bare, so it’s up to you to come and help create and decorate the library Christmas tree before we turn the lights on.
All ages welcome, Children under 12 must be supervised by parent/guardian.
