Council would like to advise stakeholders that the Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge on Bryan Jordan Drive will be closed to vehicular and marine traffic on Friday, 3 April 2026, from 6.45am. Reopening from 11am.
Council offices (including Gladstone Region Pound) will be closed over the Easter weekend. Benaraby Landfill and our Transfer Stations will remain open. Bin collection will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
We are taking our StoryTime sessions full of stories, rhymes, and fun for the whole family out and about across the region.
Get out into the great outdoors and join us for a few stories and a sing-along with our favourite nursery rhymes.
Please bring along a picnic rug, and don't forget a hat and water bottle.
There's no need to book your place for this event. Just meet us at Millennium Esplanade Park.
