WOW Gladstone Festival

The highly anticipated WOW – Women of the World Festival is set to ignite Gladstone on 18 October 2025, promising a day of inspiring conversations, transformative workshops, and vibrant cultural performances.

Held on the traditional lands of the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, and Taribelang people, this year’s festival has been planned in partnership with the women of the Gladstone region, celebrating their achievements and all the great things that they do!

WOW Gladstone will ignite powerful conversations informed by local community consultation processes, unleash your creativity in fun, hands-on workshops, entice with the vibrant marketplace, and hear from everyday heroes with our WOW Bites.

Highlights include:

The sensational 17-piece Unladylike Big Band, bringing its incredible, all-female jazz force to town. This local ensemble has been working alongside Danielle O’Keefe of The House That Dan Built and emerging composer Leila Harris to write a new Gladstone song.

This powerful performance will culminate in a Free Community Concert on Saturday at 5pm in the Amphitheatre, also featuring the Gemma Farrell Quartet and Little Mel.
