Council offices (including Gladstone Region Pound) will be closed over the Easter weekend. Benaraby Landfill and our Transfer Stations will remain open. Bin collection will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

The Boyne Valley Community Discovery Centre & Paul Fleming are proud to present the Ubobo Music Campout 2026.
Held each April, the Campout is a much-loved community event attracting interest locally as well as broader interest from across the Sunshine State. Once again, the Campout will be for a full week with walk-ups from Tues to Fri 12pm & Sat morning, plus invited artists on Friday & Saturday afternoons until late.
A favourite amongst our returning guests, the Poets Breakfast, will be held on Sunday. The picturesque country bush setting of the Campout at the BVCDC, along with top-quality entertainment from our talented invited artists, will ensure it’s an event not to be missed! A small processing fee of 2.5% + $0.50 ticketing fee will be charged on the online ticketing check-out page. Powered sites are limited - medical only, please contact Rhonda on 0439 111 268 for avail.
