A substantial number of decking boards on the existing timber boardwalk have been identified as requiring replacement. All existing decking boards, kick rails, handrails, stairs and seating will be replaced with composite material to provide longevity of the asset.

This project aims to renew this popular asset to provide an improved, safe, aesthetic and environmentally friendly boardwalk access for the public.

Works are included in Council’s Capital Works program and is being undertaken by Contractors.
