Council wishes to advise that the Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge on Bryan Jordan Drive has faulted in a closed position.
The bridge is closed to vessels. All vehicle and pedestrian access is open.
Repair and reinstatement of the bridge operation is anticipated to be completed by Tuesday, 10 March 2026 at the latest.
During this period, the bridge cannot be lifted. Vehicle and Pedestrian access is open; however, it will periodically be closed for work.
Council apologises for the delay in providing this advice and any inconvenience this may cause.
