Artists and exhibitors looking to bring their ideas to life are encouraged to circle key dates on their 2026 calendar with various opportunities on offer.
Applications for rounds of Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) will open including 2025/2026 Round 2 and 2026/2027 Round 1.
RADF is a collaborative initiative between the Queensland Government, through Arts Queensland, and Gladstone Regional Council, and is designed to promote the vital role of arts, culture and heritage within the region.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) for 2025/2026 Round 2 will open from 8-22 February 2026, with applications submitted between 23 February to 22 March.
EOI for 2026/2027 Round 1 will open from 19 July to 2 August 2026, with applications submitted between 3-30 August 2026.
Meanwhile, between now and 4 May 2026, Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum (GRAGM) is inviting applications to exhibit at the Gallery and Museum as part of the 2027 and 2028 exhibitions program.
IMAGE: Entries from The 50th Martin Hanson Memorial Art Awards are on display until 7 February.
Applications will be assessed following the period for submissions, with applicants to be notified by 15 June 2026.
By submitting your application, you could be the next artist to exhibit at GRAGM just like local artists Geoffrey Head and Andreia Pereira, who will have new exhibitions on display from 21 February until 18 April.
