Swan Lake like you’ve never seen before to make a splash at GECC
Published on 12 February 2026
Feathers will fly, acrobats will soar and laughs will be had as Duck Pond hits Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) on Saturday 9 May.
Gladstone Region Councillor Leanne Patrick said Duck Pond is a dazzling tale of swans and hapless princes, told with the signature skills that have made Circa one of the world’s most renowned circus companies.
“With soaring aerials, gravity-defying balances and daring leaps, this world-class ensemble transforms Swan Lake and The Ugly Duckling into a high-energy spectacle bursting with humour, heart and physical brilliance,” Councillor Patrick said.
“Be swept away by this reimagined fairy tale, sparkling with wit, wonder and wildly entertaining surprises, a show that will surely enchant everyone.
“Expect spins, flips and feats of impossible grace as Duck Pond splashes into GECC, complete with a sequinned, flipper-wearing duck army, a burlesque black swan and a flock of acrobats who make the impossible look easy.”
Pre-sale tickets are available at a discounted price from 10am Tuesday 17 February until 10am Wednesday 25 February.
