Council would like to advise stakeholders that the Matthew Flinders (Marina) Bridge on Bryan Jordan Drive will be undergoing essential operational maintenance, cleaning, repairs and testing.
The bridge will be closed to all marine vessel traffic for the duration of the works.
The bridge will be closed to all vehicular traffic on Wednesday, 25 March only.
No impact on pedestrian access.
While under traffic management, detours will be in place for all vehicular traffic, and an alternative route will need to be used via Hanson Road & Alf O’Rourke Drive.
- Bridge closure date: Wednesday, 25 March 2026, Thursday, 26 March 2026
- Vehicle Duration: approx. 11 hours 6:30am to 5.30pm, Wednesday
- Marine Vessel Duration: approx. 48hrs from 6:30am Wednesday.
