Council offices (including Gladstone Region Pound) will be closed over the Easter weekend. Benaraby Landfill and our Transfer Stations will remain open. Bin collection will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

GRC invites community members to join Council’s Conservation Officers in planting trees to promote environmental conservation and learn about the importance of our urban waterways.
The event will be held from 8am to noon, on Tuesday 29 April, Wednesday 30 April and Thursday 1 May 2025 at Toonee Park, 183 Sun Valley Road, Kin Kora.
Volunteers are reminded to wear enclosed footwear, and bring along gloves, water and sun protection including a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
