Caring For Siblings with Kate Stroh

Next date: Tuesday, 23 June 2026 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

A warm, practical workshop for parents and carers

Raising a child with disability, neurodiversity, or additional support needs brings both deep love and unique challenges. It can also shape the experiences of their brothers and sisters in ways that aren’t always easy to see or talk about.

This workshop is designed especially for parents and carers who want to better understand and support the siblings in their family.

Join us for a welcoming and supportive morning with Kate Strohm, founder of Siblings Australia and a leading voice in sibling support. Drawing on both professional expertise and personal lived experience as a sibling, Kate creates a safe space to explore what siblings may be feeling and how you can support them to feel seen, heard and valued.

What to expect:

A friendly, down-to-earth workshop presentation

Real-life insights and practical strategies you can use straight away

Time to connect with other parents who understand your experience

Morning tea in a relaxed, welcoming environment

Information about local supports available to you and your family

Who should attend?

Parents, guardians and carers of children who have a sibling with disability, neurodiversity, or other additional support needs. Adult siblings who provide care or support to a brother or sister are also welcome to attend.
