The ReUse Shed Upcycling Competition is your chance to take a pre-loved find from The ReUse Shed and turn it into an incredible creation.

1st Place - $100 The ReUse Sheds voucher
2nd Place - $75 The ReUse Sheds voucher
3rd Place - $50 The ReUse Sheds voucher
Highly Commended prizes may also be awarded.

Vouchers can be used at The ReUse Sheds, Gladstone, or Benaraby facilities.

Competition Information

Entries open: Wednesday, 27 May 2026
Entries close: 5pm on Wednesday, 8 July 2026.

Important Information

All items must be sourced from the Gladstone or Benaraby ReUse Sheds.
At least one clear photo of the finished item must be submitted, and must be suitable for public viewing and sharing
Entrants must consent to the use of images for promotional purposes
No selling or self‑promotion as part of the entry.

Please note, submitted images may be used for:

Social media
Posters and printed materials
Digital screens
Other The ReUse Shed communications and Council promotional material.

Creativity and originality
Reuse of materials
Transformation impact
Overall “showstopper” factor.
