Description of works

Footpath renewal replacing about 850m of existing asphalt footpath with a new, 2.5m wide, concrete footpath. Connecting to existing concrete footpath in the area.

These renewal works of various footpaths, supports Council’s Pedestrian and Cycle Strategy, providing cyclists and pedestrians with a safe and dedicated pathway, reducing the need to share the roadway with motorists.

Planned works
Works will be delivered by Council's roads crew from Tuesday 3 February, with completion expected about Tuesday 30 June, site conditions and weather permitting. 

What to expect 

  • Works Monday to Friday, 6am-6pm, weather permitting. 
  • Vehicles, equipment, machinery and workers in the area. 
  • Noise, vibration and dust from the work area is expected. 
  • Pedestrian and cyclist detour on grass around the works area.
  • Please follow signs and directions.
