Council advises that the Southern side of the Calliope River Picnic Area is temporarily closed to visitors and campers due to the recent rain event.
The area will reopen once maintenance and earthworks are complete and conditions are considered safe.
We apologise for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thank you for your understanding.
For your safety, do not enter the area during the closure period.
Please adhere to all safety signage and closure barriers during the closure period.
