Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) is planning to conduct Feral Animal Control of 1080 baiting in Bulburin National Park, Tuesday, 9 June to Sunday, 14 June 2026.
These activities are conducted to reduce the impacts of feral animals, including feral pigs on the native flora and fauna. QPWS will be installing a number of 1080 warning signs within the area informing the use of 1080 baits.
To ensure the safety of the public, no access is permitted to the National Park during the above dates.
Please observe all signage, barriers and directions from rangers and do not enter closed areas.
