As we approach the halfway point of Queensland Small Business Month, Gladstone Regional Council is encouraging everyone to think about where we spend our hard-earned dollars, particularly when it comes to supporting small businesses.
The Gladstone Region is home to more than 4100 small businesses who are the heart of our community by employing thousands of people, sponsoring local sporting teams, supporting community events and helping to shape the identity of towns, cities and regions.
When you support local businesses, jobs and money continue to circulate through the local economy, which strengthens the region even during challenging economic times.
Gladstone Regional Council is a recognised as a Queensland Small Business Friendly Council and we are committed to improving how we transact, interact and support small businesses in the region.
We are also lighting up 101 Goondoon Street in blue to celebrate and recognise our local small businesses.
