Council offices (including Gladstone Region Pound) will be closed over the Easter weekend. Benaraby Landfill and our Transfer Stations will remain open. Bin collection will take place as normal on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
Calliope Rodeo Association committee meets on the 3rd Sunday of the month with meetings starting at 4pm, at the Calliope Rodeo Grounds (Chapman Park), 3 Taragoola Road, Calliope.

Annual Calliope Rodeo is held in September each year, starting Friday evening and concluding Saturday night.
The venue can be hired for functions during the year; hire fees and deposit apply, and bookings are essential.
