Agnes Water Quilters

We are a group of about fifteen women who meet weekly to share our skills, admire the work of others, and assist each other with our sewing activities. 

We have several award-winning quilters, but our members also complete many hand sewing projects, crocheting, knitting, and a wide range of Textile Art Activities, including dyeing, weaving, gel work.

In addition to our weekly sessions, we make several day trips to visit Quilting Exhibitions, workshops, Quilt Trails, and of course, Fabric shops. 

We also organise a very popular four-day retreat each year, which provides us with lots of laughs, relaxation, and stimulation.

Our Quilt Exhibition is held annually in conjunction with the 1770 Festival. 

Alongside a display and sale of locally produced quilts, our market stall of handmade items proves very popular.

Our club is a proud supporter of local community groups, with a well-known history of making quilts, which are then raffled to raise funds.
