New names sign on to serve in 2026

Locals from different ages, backgrounds and life experiences have put their hand up to make the region a better place by nominating for the 2026 Saiki Sister City Advisory Committee and 2026 Gladstone Region Youth Council.

Zane West, Steven Henderson, Lien Jefferies and Derek Woo will join the Saiki committee in 2026 alongside returning members Jaclyn Iwasaka – President, Chris Moore – Vice President, Robina Cupitt, Beverly Fellows, Maureen Mason, Yukiko Moore, Peter O’Dwyer, Mayumi Rey du Boissieu and Garry Scanlan.

Meanwhile, the Gladstone Region Youth Council will be made up of 19 members in 2026 with Alisha Van Den Bosch, Carl Ararao, Casey Deliyiannis, Cooper Townsend, Flynn Kelso, Joshua Hooper, Harold Evangelista, Kaylee Pavlovic, Matilda Heier and Paige Cameron joining returning members Logan Althaus, Lochlain Cathcart, Bailey Dawson, Niel Godwin Quides Torres, Doug Hoffman, Oneli Peiris, Zachary Pulido, Samantha Steemson and Tairui Zang.
