Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre (GECC) is thrilled to announce two captivating shows coming this October: the classic love story of Romeo & Juliet by Bell Shakespeare and the family-friendly, eco-conscious musical spectacle JUNKLANDIA.
Bell Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet
Experience the timeless tragedy of forbidden love as Bell Shakespeare brings its critically acclaimed production of Romeo and Juliet to Gladstone.
The show, starring Madeline Li as Juliet and Ryan Hodson as Romeo, will be held on Thursday, October 9, at 6pm.
The production explores the intense relationship between two young lovers caught in a violent family feud, risking everything to be together.
This powerful performance is recommended for ages 13 and up.
JUNKLANDIA
Prepare to be amazed by the ‘Junklandians’ – two siblings from a distant planet who transform everyday recycled materials into musical instruments.
JUNKLANDIA is a vibrant spectacle of rhythm, dance, circus, and comedy.
The show, recommended for ages 6 and up, will take place on Thursday, October 30, at 10am.
The performance culminates in an incredible ‘JUNK Orchestra’ where the audience can join in and create their own band with recycled instruments.
